Run starts: 10.00am

Meet: Little Venice Sports Centre, 10 Crompton Street, W2 1ND. Nearest stations are Edgware Road (Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City), Paddington (Bishop’s Bridge Road / Paddington Basin side) (Elizabeth Line, National Rail, Circle, Hammersmith & City) (also District from Praed Street side), Warwick Avenue (Bakerloo) (all 10-15 minutes’ walk).

Upon arrival, please introduce yourself to the reception as a member of the London Frontrunners and kindly wait to be given access to the ground floor changing rooms. Arrive from 9.30am in plenty of time to get ready for a 10.00am departure.

Please bring a padlock for the lockers in the main lobby.

Route: Large loop of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens (or feel free to create your own route).

There is also a long run on a Saturday starting from the Queen Mother Sports Centre.  This is around 10-15 miles and starts earlier so that both runs finish at around the same time. It is also a guided run, where everyone runs together, as the route varies from week to week. Details can be found on the Saturday Long Run page.

Post Run Social: Brunch buffet at the Thistle Hotel, Bryanston Street, Marylebone, W1H 7EH. Allow 15 minutes to go by bus routes 6 or 98 from Orchardson Street stop EA.

Risk Assessment

As part of the Club’s ongoing efforts to ensure and maintain the health and safety of Club members, a risk assessment of the new run has been carried out.

This risk assessment and the accompanying map highlight all of the hazards and potential hazards on the route including points where runners need to cross the road, where cars might come in and out of side roads, blind spots and narrows pavements. All runners should familiarise themselves with the risk assessment and map before embarking on the run.
