This year, ten dedicated members of London Frontrunners earned their England Athletics Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) certificates, increasing our coaching team to 18. This means we are better equipped than ever to support our runners on their fitness journeys.
Our coaches obtaining their qualification
In response to the growing demand for our popular Tuesday and Wednesday coaching sessions, we’re thrilled to introduce a new Thursday Track session. This additional offering is designed to help our members hone their speed, build endurance, and refine running technique—all whilst enjoying the camaraderie of running with other LGBTQ+ runners.
Our coaching sessions are more than just workouts. They are an opportunity to improve speed, fine-tune technique, and run more efficiently, reducing the risk of injury. But it is also about being part of a supportive community that encourages runners to push their limits and achieve their running goals.
Whether you’re looking to shave seconds off your personal best or just run injury-free, our coaches are here to support everyone. Check out our latest coaching plan and join us for a session.
Meet some of our coaches
“I love sharing the power that coaching has to improve everyone’s ability to run and desire to grow. Whether you want to fly round the track or, like me, you enjoy putting in the hard miles to complete a marathon, there is something for everyone in coaching”.
– Dom
“It’s a unique opportunity to coach. One of the reasons I trained as a coach was to improve my own running, and it’s great to share this passion with others”.
– Robert
“Running can bring the best of potential, resilience, commitment and achievement in everyone, independent of level and speed. As a passionate runner who learns something new every time I put my feet into my running shoes, I love to nurture this spirit with others, with coaching that is impactful, fun – and for everyone”.
