International Front Runners is an affiliation of LGBT running / walking clubs cities around the world. Inspired by Patricia Nell Warren’s novel “The Front Runner”, the first FrontRunner club was established in San Francisco in 1974 and there now dozens of clubs across North America, Europe and Asia.
England Athletics is one of the Club’s governing bodies and develops grass roots athletics in England, supporting affiliated clubs (including London Frontrunners) to prosper, developing more and better coaches, recruiting and supporting volunteers and officials. England Athletics provides and supports competition opportunities at an international national, area and county level.
runbritain’s revolutionary handicap scoring system is designed to give road runners of all abilities the ability to benchmark their progress and compare their results across a range of distances and terrains.
