Upon arrival, please introduce yourself to the reception as a member of the London Frontrunners and kindly wait to be given access to the dry side changing rooms (use the wet side if busy). These can be found by going past the barriers, up the stairs, along the walkway above the pools, then through a lobby and up a second staircase. Please share lockers if you can to avoid other users running out. Arrive from 8.30am in plenty of time to get ready for a 9.00am departure.
Please bring a padlock for the lockers in the changing rooms.
Pace: This is a paced run where everyone runs in groups, at three distinct paces – 5:00 mins/km (8 min mile), 5:15 mins/km (8.30 min mile) and 5:30 mins/km (9 min mile).
We are also introducing the Leisurely Long Run as a bridge between the Hyde Park run and the Long Run. This will run a maximum of around 10 miles at a slower (6:00 mins/km / 9:30 min mile) pace. This will leave at the same time / place as the Long Run.
Note: To assist those training for marathons or who just want to do extra distance, there will be opportunities to run some additional mileage before the main start.
If you have any special requirements please let us know by emailing [email protected] and we would be happy to advise.
It is not possible to create a comprehensive risk assessment for the long run as the route changes per week. If you have any concerns, please email [email protected].
