Pride run 2025 – LFR race report

We hope your legs are recovering from a successful Pride Run!
Our 2025 race was one filled with milestones – we sold over 1000 places for the first time since lockdown, we had pacers for the first time and had a huge turnout of both London Frontrunners and Frontrunners from across the UK and around the world.
The men’s race included a London Frontrunner top 2: Jacek Skryzalin (33:28) and Andy Doyle (35:01). Alex Maher (39:14) was first female and Olivia Fitz-Poole (44:06) was first London Frontrunner. Our Brighton Frontrunner cousin Sam Brooks (34:23) was 1st non-binary with Lucy Meringolo (44:12) 2nd as well as being first London Frontrunner.

Our Frontrunner brethren included great representation from Nottingham, Brighton and Hove, Birmingham Swifts, Glasgow, New York, Vienna and Bern. Most of them came to our after party, so hopefully you made some well travelled new friends.
The race was made possible by a staggering 54 volunteers, many of them London Frontrunners, including our 14 pacers. We’re grateful to all of them for making it a fun and friendly event and welcoming all participants.

We’re also very grateful to our sponsors State Street, Heytea (who provided the drinks in the race village) and Jubel (our official beer partner who provided the delicious post-race tinnies) as well as our charity, the Micro Rainbow International Foundation.

And of course we carried on afterwards at the People’s Park Tavern, Village Soho and wrapped up with a Sunday tour of the Serpentine Pavillion. Many thanks to Julian for generously giving his time to deliver a truly insightful, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable tour.
